We love this Independence Day celebration 5K, and have run it for many years.  It starts and finishes at Hope Church in Waukee. Parking is close, easy and spacious.  And, they give away LOTS of prizes in the post-race drawing.  Our Captains have had a bit of success there in the past.  :)

This will be our second year at this fun race.  Last year's race was a bit wet - but also a lot of fun.  Due to construction on the trail, the race this year will be held at Campbell Park in Clive.  They put on a good race.  :)

Another great 5K race we have run for many years.  It starts and ends at Hope Church in West Des Moines.  Access and parking are great.  Might be a hill or two during this one, but it does finish on a downhill.  :)   We have been fortunate to medal a few times in previous years.  And, they have some fun giveaways after the race.  This is a fun event.
