Look for Team RunFree at the following events!
This December run has become popular in Des Moines. Last year, 400 people ran it, and they are hoping for many more this year. It starts in the East Village near Fleet Feet Sports. Team RunFree is one of 5 charities sponsored by this race. Registrants can choose which charity receives $15 of their registration fee. And, each runner receives a Santa suit for they running 'uniform'.
The untimed fun run starts at 10 a.m. which is very nice. The last few years have varied from rather cold to very comfortable.
