Our TRF family is having a fun outing at Principal Park !  We start with a picnic for all, followed by throwing out the first pitch, then watching our own Iowa Cubs play a Sunday afternoon game. No racing this day - this is simply a day to let our Team RunFree and Synergy team members have fun and be well loved.

Team RunFree is ready to host a fun run for our team - and for those who have interest in seeing what we do ... and potentially joining.  We will be meeting and running at Dewey Park in Johnston. It's easy to get to, the parking and sidewalks are friendly, and we will reserve a shelter house for shade and comfort.  We'll have plenty of breakfast items for you, and teams can randomly pair up and go out for a brief run ... or hang out in the shelter house and chat with teammates.  This is a big day where we can have fun with our team AND it allows curious and interested potential Captains and blind Athletes to 'try it' and see if we are a good match.  We hope to have LOTS of TRF folks at this event.  Invite others !

Again this year, we will have 3 teams running the IMT Des Moines half marathon.  We pair 2 Navigators per cart, so our 'team' this year will be 9 strong.  We looove this race, and IMT specifically, as they have been especially gracious and kind to us. We are extra excited for this race, as it is one of very few races we do annually which goes beyond our typical 5K distances.
